PJD Services was founded in 1991 by Peter John Dawson (PJD) and his wife Christine. They had run their own businesses for years, including childrens clothes shops and drinks wholesalers. 
 

Peter was asked by a good friend if he'd be interested in being the sole nationwide courier for the new galvanised steel garages his company was manufacturing. These were difficult to deliver and after trying numerous couriers, they found out of every 10 delivered, up to 5 arrived damaged. To this day we are still the only courier company they will trust to handle their product. 

 

From this, our first customer, we have developed a growing base of satisfied customers and an excellent reputation across the UK and Europe.

 

After running the business for many years Peter & Christine trained up their two children, Rosie & Ben, to run the business.
